Last week I presented “Growing Your Organization by Personal Brand Management on LinkedIn” at the American Marketing Association’s Nonprofit Marketing Conference in Washington, DC. This session focused on how organizations can add targeted, relevant keywords to their profile and company page to increase the visibility of their mission. This small step can help non-profit’s increase donations, membership, sales, and media awareness. Regardless of whether your organization is big or small, nationwide or just in Washington, D.C. a foundation, museum, trade association, charity or other nonprofit, company pages and professional profile pages can be optimized to enhance your presence on search engine results. This ultimately will grow revenue, membership and customer acquisition and retention.
